US Staffing Provides Bus Passes to Students in Need at Jackson Public Schools

Jackson, MI – March 19th, 2024 - The Jackson Area Transportation Authority (JATA) is delighted to announce a collaborative effort with US Staffing, a prominent provider of staffing solutions, aimed at supporting Jackson High School students facing transportation insecurity. Through this partnership, US Staffing will provide bus passes to qualifying students attending after-school activities such as tutoring or other academic endeavors until the end of the school year.

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital Awarded Largest Endowment to Date - $5M for Workforce Initiative

JACKSON, Mich. (Feb. 14, 2024) – Henry Ford Jackson Hospital will soon create a workforce development scholarship fund that stands to generate meaningful opportunities in healthcare for area students, thanks to a record-setting $5 million endowment from Alro Steel and the family of its founder Al Glick. In collaboration with Spring Arbor University, Jackson College and several other local and regional partners, scholarships will provide educational opportunities for community members who want to build careers in healthcare.
