Consumers Energy to Give Customers the Opportunity to Test-Drive Electric Vehicles in Jackson

Consumers Energy is giving customers the opportunity to test-drive seven electric vehicle models for free during a full-day event in May 18 in Jackson. People should sign up now for test drives.

WHEN: Saturday, May 18, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHERE: Meijer parking lot, 2777 Airport Road, Jackson, MI 49202

WHAT: People can sign up for one or two 15-minute driving sessions in seven electric vehicles, including a Ford F-150 Lightning, a GM Hummer EV SUV and Tesla models. WORTH NOTING:

  • Media are invited to cover the May 18 event. Please let us know if a reporter wants to test-drive a vehicle – the sooner, the better.
  • Members of Consumers Energy’s EV team will be on site May 18 to talk with customers, answer questions and provide information about incentives that can lower costs.
