PRESS RELEASE - EXPERIENCE JACKSON ANNOUNCES 2024 JACKSON COUNTY MUSEUM PASSPORT PROGRAM

JACKSON, MICH. – Experience Jackson, Jackson County’s official tourism bureau, presents the 2024 Jackson County Museum Passport Program. After a 5-year hiatus, the program returns with an opportunity for visitors and residents to experience the majority of Jackson County’s Museums.

“Not only can you experience art, history, and transportation in Jackson County in 2024,” said Rachel Buchanan, Experience Jackson Marketing and Development Manager. “It is also a great way for guests of all ages to explore something new – and plan return trips to Jackson to continue filing up their passport”.

Participants can earn prizes from Experience Jackson along the way. FREE Museum Passport brochures are available at the Experience Jackson office, 134 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49201, or at any of the twelve participating Jackson County Museums during any visit. Each unique museum visit allows participants to document the visit by requesting a museum passport stamp from the museum staff. Once a participant visits at least seven museums, they will earn a museum passport prize package. Prizes will include a variety of local coupons and other items from Experience Jackson and local partners.

Once participants receive at least seven stamps, the back panel of the passport is considered complete. However, retrieving extra stamps is encouraged.
