Tara Robinson, an educator at Northwest Middle, nominated her school for the grant in December 2022. Tara and her principal, Dan Brooks, were recently surprised by Meemic Foundation Advocate Adam Stowe of the Stowe Agency located in Jackson, MI, that their school was officially named one of the 10 schools receiving this grant prize.
The Meemic Foundation understands the challenges of educators and schools to get needed resources and is committed to supporting education through unique and fun grant opportunities throughout the year. “We’re excited for Northwest Middle and hope that the new furniture will provide a vibrant educational environment that enhances the learning experience for their students and teachers”, said Meemic Foundation Executive Director Pamela Harlin. “We truly care about our schools and are dedicated to infusing valuable resources like furniture, technology, books, and other supplies into classrooms throughout Michigan.”
